The bike portion of the race uses the south (eastbound) lanes of Mt. Seymour Parkway between Berkley and Roche Point and this section of the Parkway is closed to vehicle traffic. Following a review of the recent infrastructure changes to the Parkway and to ensure the safety of all road users and event participants, the decision was made to eliminate eastbound traffic along the Parkway during the event. Westbound traffic will not be affected.
The Parkway will be closed to eastbound traffic at Berkley Road at 6:30 AM. Berkley Road will still be accessible at this time. Eastbound traffic will be closed at Riverside Drive at 8:00 AM. Between 8:00 AM and noon all eastbound road users will need to re-route via Dollarton Hwy. All intersections will be controlled by traffic management personnel.
